Qualifical, an AI detector and humanizer that shows which passages read as AI-generated and rewrites them in your own voice

A draft that almost sounds like someone.

Find the passages that read as AI, then rewrite them

Qualifical is an AI detector and humanizer for essays, theses, cover letters, and posts. Paste your text or import a .docx, .pdf, or .txt file. The check gives every passage its own score, so you can see which parts give a draft away. Rewrite those parts in place, keep the versions you like, and check again.

How the check works

Your text is split into passages of about a paragraph, and each gets a score from 0 to 100% for how likely it reads as written by AI. Under 30% reads as human, 30 to 70% is mixed, and over 70% is likely AI. Longer passages count for more in the overall score. When you check again after editing, only the passages you changed are scored and charged.

How rewriting works

Pick a tone (academic, professional, casual, or creative) and how far a rewrite may move from your words. You can rewrite every passage at 30% or more in one go, or select a few sentences and rewrite just those. A rewrite stays marked in the text until you keep it, undo it, or ask for another version.

What it costs

Checking costs 1 credit a word and rewriting costs 7. The free plan gives 5,000 credits a month, up to 2,500 a day. Plans start at $3.99 a month for 30,000 credits, and credit packs from $4.99 last 365 days. See pricing

Common questions

Is Qualifical free?
Yes. Every account gets 5,000 credits a month, enough to check about 5,000 words, and you can use up to 2,500 of them a day. Free documents can be up to 2,500 words long.
Can I try the AI detector without an account?
Yes. On the home page you can check up to 300 words without signing in, and see which passages read as AI. Rewriting, longer texts, and file imports take a free account.
Can an AI detector prove that a text was written by AI?
No. A score says how likely a passage is to read as AI-generated, and it can’t tell who wrote it. Formulaic human writing can score high, and edited AI text can score low. The scores are good for deciding what to revise, but they aren’t evidence against anyone.
Do rewrites keep my meaning?
Usually, but a rewrite can shift the emphasis or drop a detail, which is why each one waits in the text for you to review. Undo brings back your own words.
What happens to my writing?
On the free plan, we keep what you write for up to two years to train and improve our models, with obvious personal details removed, and you can object at any time. If you have a plan or bought credits, your writing is never used for training. You can delete a document or your whole account yourself at any time.
Which files can I import and export?
Paste text, or import a .docx, .pdf, or .txt file. Documents export as .docx, and a document you imported from .docx keeps its original formatting for 12 months.
Is there an API or an MCP server?
Both. The REST API lets your own code check and rewrite text, and the MCP server lets assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, and Cursor do it for you once you connect them to your account. They use the same credits as the app. The docs are at qualifical.com/docs/api and qualifical.com/docs/mcp.
